About the role
Overview
A VC-backed insurtech is hiring a full-stack Product Engineer to build reliable systems that power end-to-end insurance claims processing. The role combines product engineering, operational workflow design, and customer-informed development.
What you will do
- Build and own full-stack software powering insurance claim processing.
- Work with internal and external users to identify bottlenecks and improve claims workflows.
- Ship features across the stack using technologies such as Next.js, Node.js, cloud infrastructure, Postgres, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate directly with founders and a small engineering team.
- Help scale a 0-to-1 product in a large, operationally complex market.
What we are looking for
- Strong full-stack engineering experience.
- Comfortable with modern web frameworks, backend services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and product judgement.
- Able to operate in ambiguous, high-velocity environments.
- High ownership and willingness to work close to users.
